As Director, Grid Modernization Technology for Eversource, Ryan West oversees the selection and implementation of new technology that enables the adoption of clean energy. He leads a team that is focused on the implementation of foundational operational systems and new technology, to ensure the electric grid can support a high penetration of clean distributed energy resources while still maintaining safe and reliable service to customers. Previously, Ryan was involved in the engineering and design of NH’s electric distribution system and distribution automation program at Eversource. Ryan earned a MS Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a BS Electrical Engineering from Merrimack College, Andover, MA.
