Jude Nuru

Director of Community Solar Initiatives at ReVision Energy

Clean Energy Transition – Rural Case Studies

As Director of Community Solar Initiatives, Jude leads ReVision Energy on community solar projects with schools and nonprofits. He is passionate about developing community solar for vulnerable people, especially low-moderate income communities including resident-owned communities (ROC), multifamily apartments, and affordable housing communities. He is currently leading ReVision Energy on a community solar drive for schools and nonprofits across New Hampshire. His goal is to support several schools and nonprofits transition to clean energy at zero cost to them. He has nearly a decade of knowledge and experience in the renewable energy landscape in New England, Ghana, and the UK. He has consulted for several energy companies including W3G Marine Energy Ltd. in UK with focus on offshore wind energy resources development. He serves on the City of Keene Energy and Climate Committee where he and other members of the Committee are developing a city-wide community energy plan for the City’s residents. He is also a member of a sub-committee working to promote and increase electric vehicle charging stations in the Monadnock Region. Jude holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana, a Master of Science degree in Energy Management from Robert Gordon University, UK, a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Environmental Studies, and a Doctorate degree in Environmental Studies from Antioch University New England, Keene.
