Chris Harris

Senior Director of Growth and Strategy at Kansas Leadership Center

Entreprenuership Track Leader

Chris is a lifelong Kansan committed to the idea that his home state should lead in solving the world’s most difficult challenges. He has extensive experience in working with communities, non-profits, philanthropy and government to drive progress on social challenges. Chris uses that experience in his role as the Senior Director of Growth & Strategy to build partnerships that accelerate the impact of organizations here in Kansas and across the country. Chris has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Kansas and an MBA from Fort Hays State University. Prior to joining KLC, Chris led rural entrepreneurship strategies for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation in Kansas City. Chris and his wife Imagene are raising two young Kansans and a couple dogs in rural Douglas County. When Theodore and Elleanor give their dad a few minutes of spare time, you will find Chris in nature or floating in a fishing boat somewhere on a Kansas lake.
